  • '78 Standard with 8,000kms in Sudbury Ont.

Thought I'd pass this on. Today in the 'top ads" on Kijiji in Ontario, Canada for Sudbury there is a 78 Standard in great shape with 8,000 kms for $2200. I don't know how to forward the link like all the other guys do. But I appriciate everyone else doing it on here for a look see. This looks like a real nice bike. He states he had it for 3 yrs - too bad he never joined the forum. Maybe someone can check out the above & paste the link to it, as I am not computor savy. Thx -Dan

Except for the 78-79 Seat and 78-79 side covers and decals. So, I doubt it's original paint as I don't think that color could be had back then, but the seat, side covers and decals all say 78 or 79.

It has the kick start shaft so it has to be a 78 or 79. Just a guess but, it looks like it the tank was swapped out with a later one and the side covers painted to match.

According to the ad the seat was recovered but everything else is original.

'78 came in a wide range of colors...as long as it was "Macho Maroon"...
