  • 82 XJ for sale. Parts $500

    1982 Maxim XJ1100 for sale.
Engine out of the bike, Only missing countershaft bolt. Transmission gears have the Black n Decker fix.
While trying to troubleshoot the shifting issues I found that the countershaft bolt was sheared and I CANNOT find anyone anywhere that has this bolt. Everything is there except for the bolt. Engine is out of the bike and has its clutch and covers off.

Bike is located just off I-94 in Albion, Michigan. $500 takes it.
Have a brand new Gasket set for the engine and head gasket (upper and lower) and new oil filter. Also have a new brake lever (the original was broken).

Rear tire is ok, front tire is bad.

If interested send a PM on here or an email to bjbaker@lssu.edu

If the countershaft bolt is the reason for the sale i'm sure someone here would pony up and send you one
