    Might be as good as it looks....who knows......Hmmm, could have my oldest son in Tuscon take alook.....but he's HERE until Saturday. Maybe it'll sell and I won't be tempted. But then again, always wanted a MNS when I bought my Venturer new for two-up touring. Hmmm.....don't NEED it, but could just cause I can...now that's scarey!

      I want the exhaust pipes off that bike. I would trade my jardens for them.
      But that's a "pipe" dream.

        Looks like a 79 to me Ron, unless they changed the speedometer.

          MY 1980 MNS Speedometer only goes to 85

          My 1980 only goes to 85 on my 1980, the MNS was only made in 80 and 81, wonder what the deal is?

            Could have been made in 79, and comforms to 80 models. Depends on production date. Mine only goes to 85 as well.

              Minor detail......still COULD be a good buy either way. Still gonna see if my son will check it out when he goes back Saturday...if it's still available.

                The Speedo

                is from a 78/79 so you have a bike with a lot more miles on it than you think.
                ALL MNS have 85 MPH speedos original (in the states).

                Original except:
                120 mains outer cylinders - 125 mains inner cylinders - Ceramic headers - Powder coated pipes, covers calipers, and MC's
                4 pods - Air box gutted--E3 Plugs - High Back seat - Grooved out swing arm - SS brake lines
                Fork brace - 160 speedo - Auto CCT
                All gold paint and chrome replaced with GOLD plate

                  Very true, but again a decent STARTING price if it runs as smooth as pics look. Pics CAN be decieving......so again, gonna see about havin' it checked out.
