  • '80 XS1100 Midnight Special For Sale

I have a 1980 XS1100 Midnight Special for sale. I found it in a junk yard abandoned, NOT wrecked. It didn't take much to make it a runner. I just cleaned up the fuel system, changed all the fluids, and it fired up. I've replaced the front wheel bearing, fork seals, tires, and added a windshield. Everything I've checked on it has been in excellent shape. The brake calipers didn't have a bit of wear, brake pads are like new, compression was great, it has no shifting issues, all moving parts are working like a clock.

The pros: It is mechanically solid, doesn't need any major work at all. it has 21000 miles. Lots of miles left. Rides great.

The cons: It is in need of a good painter, cause I'm not. Don't worry, I didn't go crazy with a piss can. I tried to paint the tank and fenders and other body parts, but I used rustoleum and it isn't worth a crap. I should've known better. I did take the parts off when I did it, there's no over spray. The valves need shimmed and the throttle shaft seals are dried out so it's hard to get a good sync on it. It needs a fuse block. It has Harley mufflers, cause the old ones had a big hole in em.

I have all the original parts except for the side plates. It comes with a sissy bar. I'm asking $800. Message or call 509-551-5411 Thanks.
