Full touring bike with bags, cruising pegs. 13K miles, 160mph speedo, tool kit, am/fm cassette player, new battery. Bike runs pretty good, needs work though-carbs need adjusting, and needs some tlc. Very strong. Sat for a long time before I got it and was looking to possibly sell to someone who knows more about these bikes than myself. I am looking to buy another bike that doesn't need any work done. I don't have much free time to mess with it and I just want to ride. Bike is complete and only needs a couple of things-Air filter, 1 exhaust bolt. I am looking to get $1300 out of the bike. Trades will be accepted as well. If you have a reliable bike I may be willing to trade plus cash for it. let me know. samm895@hotmail.com or 571-251-4257

We all get frustrated on these things. No worries. I have been known to threaten to throw mine down a hill and lite it on fire.
Keep workin and it will be a snarlin beast in no time. And you will know it intimately and know how to figure out what is up when something else goes wrong. No matter what bike you buy if it is not about brand new, it will have issues that some up as you ride it. The great thing about these bikes is they truly are relatively simple once you figure some of their idiosynchrocies out. An there is very few bikes as easy to work on really.Last edited by DGXSER; 04-17-2010, 09:31 PM.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
