Well, I believe that your bike was ridden by your old deceased uncle who got a DFC in the Army Air Corpse, during the Falklands conflict while flying an F-22. Since it was his only contribution to your life and he was SUCH a hero, you can see that the sentimental value of your bike can NEVER have a price put on it. Especially since he had that peg leg and all. But you could offer to settle with that dealer for a fraction of its pricelessness, or about $100,000. OR THEY COULD FIX THE THING THE WAY IT SHOULD BE.
That's what I would do, if it were me. I have heard those lines from customers with old cars that were on their last leg, and most times the dealer would cave.
Be sure and listen to plenty of Roy D. Mercer before you go in to negotiate. It'll get you ramped up with all the right come backs. By God. Especially the one about the drumsticks signed by Tipper Gore.
