If I lived in TX, I would snatch up both, even if it was for the asking price. I would tear down the one with no title and fix the one that has title, you could easily triple your $400 back by selling the titled one once you got it running.BARE BONES CHOPPERS: If it don't make it go faster, you don't need it!

Title does not match frame or engine. It is a title to a 750. The bikes have been sitting with intakes exposed to weather for YEARS. Look at the rust on the forks. Not much good on them.'81 1100 MNS - "Midnight XSpress"

Sorry guys and gals,
I was working a deal with the PO and someone shanghaied it. Since I was getting it cheap I had planned to offer the excess parts here for ship as I already have duplicates of most everything. I wanted a spare engine, tranny, and a few other parts. Took yesterday off to go seal the deal. The PO did not even tell me he had sold them until I got there and would not say who bought them.
. Anyway someone thinks they pulled a fast one and has a title to one of the bikes. Problem is the title is no good, I have the serial # and the DMV will get the info next.
I figured there will be a bunch of parts on Fleabay from "somebody" in North Texas trying to profit from his good XS buddies. Just want everyone to know that it ain't me. If I got it, you need it and I don't, then it's free for ship. This is something special that started long before I became a member and I am proud to be a part of it.
