  • 1979 xs1100 with custom front end & seat

Hi I am putting my bike up for sale. I have a 1979 xs1100 Yamaha motorcycle. This was my project throught the spring and summer. I bought it not running and I cleaned the carbs and tank, and it runs pretty good now. I have since put a 4-1 header pipe, pod filters, a seca 750 seat, new rear tire, LED tail and brake lights, new handlebars, and the best part a 1988 fzr1000 front end on it. That includes the forks wheel brakes the whole deal. This front end was a vast improvement in handling and braking and looks. I also painted the tank and fender and cowl. Paint job isnt the best though. But this is a pretty decent bike I have ridden it some and it rides great. Might just need some fine tuning. I am looking for $1000, but make me an offer or I am interested in trades also. Just send me some pics of what you got. You can just reply to the ad or call Jesse at 314-413-5394, if I dont answer just leave a message. Thanks for looking. I can send pics on request if interested just leave your e-mail. Thanks

Yeh. it really looks pretty good, and i'd bet the front end is way better. Good thing i'm too far away to buy it.
Now if you could just get a matching back rim and a polish job it would be badass, maybe paint the inner motor dull parts black.......sand the edges of the fins....
