I know I'm gonna catch a lot of crap just for thinking of selling this bike I suppose for the last 10 years it's been as much about the customizing as riding the bike. Now that I'm running out of "practical
" ideas, it spends all it's time in the garage. Finished the frame powder coat early this year and gave the bike a fresh 8Kmi. powerplant from back east. Proved it out by riding from the rally in Santa Margarita up the PCH to Ft. Bragg and home to Reno on 20. I'm thinking $2500. I could build another for around $4k so thats a heck of a deal.

In my opinion, it needs a paint job something like this:

    Smooth bike

Just to let fellow members know,,,this bike is the smoothest, fastest, tuned to the max bike on the west coast. I saw it at the central ca. rally and Dragxs consistently out duelled the lot of us. It is super smooth and quick. Too bad he didnt list all the work done to it. Anyway, anyone looking for a turn key track tuned xs this is the one. One ride and you will grin ear to ear for a week, it will make someone very happy. ,,,,Mike in Sun Diego

Thanks mike.... but it hasn't been "track tuned" The internals are mostly stock so I figured most of the add-ons could be seen in the pics.
I'm still torn on selling it. There are 3 xs11's in my family and I've been helping a neighbor get his on the road so I feel like a traitor. But I don't have a storage building like Jay Leno to keep all my collectables.
Here's a list of some of the stuff and approx. cost:
Chrome wheels, engine covers, footpeg mounts, grab bar 1000
Lockhart oil cooler, fittings, lines 200
Russell steel braided brake lines 200
Sargent Custom Upolstered seat Carbon FX with silver welt 300
TKAT fork brace hand polished 75
      Mikesxs Chrome switch housings 90
Kuryakyn headlight, LED signals(variable load flasher), mirrors 300
      SuperTrapp stainless slip on 100
Mac head pipe ceramic coated by Jet Hot sterling silver 400
      EBC floating brake rotors 400
Progressive front and rear springs and shocks 300
Frame, swingarm, lower fork clamp, battery box powder coating 200
Tank/side cover paint is metallic silver with clear coat 300
Had chrome sticker decals made just waiting for the new paint job I wanted.
OEM stuff(some now discontinued) rider footpeg pads, shaft boot other misc rubber parts
dynojet needles with drilled diaphrams... stock jets(normally ride between 4800-9000ft elev)
Custom made LED tail light with 172 super bright LEDs made by me. circuit parts cost 200
Some things had to be eliminated such as the auto turn signal canceler, horns, and hazard switch... none of which I use anyway.
thats about all I can think of right now.

                took long enough...

I thought it would go in a day or two it was so nice....

Wish I could have justified the cash for something I kept in CA to ride 1 week a month....

Cruise Missle has a new home!

The Bike is now at its new home in Midlothian, Tx. Was a long trip to pick it up, but as well worth it. Well done Matt!
                  Thanks, Rodney

                    How bittersweet this is...
I was lamenting the fact that Cruise Missile was being sold... but had no idea it would go to someone within a 45 minute ride of me...
