  • Really clean special in ok on ebay $255

There is a really clean special on ebay, listed as an xs eleven that nobody is seeing. Looks very nice with a bad tranny, I'd buy it if it wasn't over 1,000 miles from me, 1 day left in the auction....$255

That's alot of $$$$ in parts there if you parted it out. Or every thing you need to redo a special if you have a good motor and title, and I do. Just wish it was closer.

Thanks for the heads up... shame no title... but if it goes cheap, might be worth it... if nothing else but parts. I'll watch it...

Your just a little too late, I justed closed a deal with Ole492 to trade my extra motors for a new burnt orange tank and side cover set. Good for me, bad for you. Maybe next time.

Real easy...many scenarios...Previous owner died and title is lost...bike could be stolen....etc... the bike's condition has nothing to do with it.

Have you guys ever heard of a title 42 process? There is a place here in Tulsa, OK that for about 100 bucks can get a lost title for a bike. They say they can file a mechanics lein on it, run the vin to track down the previous owner to ask them if they want it back for the insane amount that you've filed the lein for. then advertise it in 3 different publications as going to auction (this is the part that I don't understand fully....either the list it as a way high price so nobody would bid or what) Then when nobody buys it the state will issue a new title in your name and give the bike to you so you since you have a mechanics lein on it. They said it takes about a month and a half to complete but you could get a title for any non titled bike. I think their informaiton is.......Title 42's for you 918-994-7820. I haven't ever done it because I haven't had to, but I've heard of ppl havning good luck doing it.
