  • 1980 G in Salem, OR

Well, I love the old girl but I just bought a 2006 Boulevard M109R and my wife says my butt can only fit on one bike at a time so why do I need two?

So, she's up for sale. I would LOVE to get $1,100 out of her. She runs well, but could use a sync job.

    The good:

Removed the broken fairing and finally found a square H-4 headlight.
    Rebuilt rear caliper
    SS rear brake line
    Slotted rear rotor
Re-packed the rear drive unit with new grease
New blade fuse block from this site
Replaced all gauge/panel lights with LEDs.
Replaced both petcocks with MikesXS non-vacuum type.
De-rusted tank using electrolysis (worked great!)

    The bad:
    Seat cover is torn/needs recovered
    Needs synced
Needs a good polishing to really shine

Like I said, $1100 obo. I will get some pics up later today if anyone is interested.

Sorry about the delay...was on a family mini-vacation with the family down to southern Oregon hitting all the spots from my youth...

Here are the pictures I have taken so far. Let me know if you want anything specific and I can get it for you.

Looks like the tank is painted black? Side panels are grey...still this looks like a great deal for the $$$

Yeah, the bike was that way when I bought it. I haven`t had time to even think about getting the paint back to original.

If it helps, this thing has been a daily rider since I got it.

Well if I was closer I'd take it...and have the side covers painted to match the tank...as that would be easier to do

Well if you can work out someone transporting it back to you, I will put off advertising it for a week or so to give you time to see if it can happen. I would really like it to go to an enthusiast.
