1981 XS1100H Venture for Sale

If you're near South Ohio, Nova Scotia I have a 1981 XS/H Venture for sale. 45,230 kms on it. Seat is worn but I will throw in a Travelcade Replacement Seat Cover, and 5 litres of 10W40 oil plus an Optimate Recharger. It has a weird electrical gremlin in it which I have been trying to trace. Front flashers and rear tail light don't come on when started. Runs well & strong. MVI'ed till Oct 31.09
Rubber good. Only drove 210 kms this season - weather and way too many other things to get done. Would rather sell it than see it sit and gather dust and deteriorate. Email me if interested.

'81 XS1100H for sale

Hi: if you go to http://halifax.kijiji.ca and in their "search" box type in 1981 Yamaha XS1100H you will see pictures of the bike. I was asking $1400 or best offer. I've scheduled a repair date with the dealer next Thursday to see if they can sort out a couple of minor electrical "gremlins" the solution has so far eluded my basic skills. Also getting them to look at the the front brake pads, and check the carb sync. Right now it's sitting in my barn / garage on a battery tender because I haven't driven it for the last two months - been too busy with some home renovations. But today the wife wondered if it would start, so I tried it and it kicked over the first time. Only have put 210kms on it this year. It's the model which has the Vetter fairing, I think they called it the "Venture".

Hi Bob,
I have one of those. I believe it is called a Venturer with an R on the end. I am told they are rare. Fairing was made by Pacifico for Yamaha.
Wish mine looked as good as yours and hopefully one day it will.....but first to get it running and on the road. I Hate electrical gremlins.
