    1982 xj100

    I have decided to part with my XJ. I have been wanting to start on a new project bike and need the room and funds to do so. This bike runs great and pulls real strong. I am asking $1500 for it. It is located in Kansas City, MO. Here are some pics.







    I do have the heat shield that is missing on the right side exhaust (forgot to put it back on before the pics). The only thing the bike will need is a new rear tire.

    That DOES look good!

    hmmmmmmmmm... and I just happen to know where there are a couple of XJs that I can get parts from (should I ever need them)... as long as I'm quiet... and it's dark outside... minus a cracked exhaust on one of them...



    Too bad we don't have space for anymore either...

      Just realized my typo in the title of this post. It is an 1100, not a 100.

        Guess that's the first time I've gotten to see your XJ... Looks good!
        If I had the $, I'd take it. But alas... I can only wish you good luck & hope she finds a good home.

        Is that the correct miles on the odometer?
        Well worth your asking price... even if it's not.

          Yep, actual mileage. It had 8500 on it when I bought it. I have gotten 6 people email me about it so far. Not bad for less than 24 hours listed. One guy stopped by and looked at it. He had his buddy with him (harley guy). This guy was telling him that he didn't know if it would keep up with his hog. I told him that he would probably have a hard time keeping up with the XJ. Would love to ride with that guy sometime just so I could prove it to him. LOL

            Sounds like you told him right, Harry!

            I know firsthand they'll outrun one, even w/ the "Screamin' Eagle" package.

            My cousin's still scratchin' his head about that one, and spending more $ ! LOL

                  Real nice bike Harry.That should be worth at least what your asking.
                  Looks like you got you're monies worth out of that tire.You werent doing burnouts with it were you?

                      seat height

                      is the seat height as high as a79 xs special? nice bike 19000 is low miles for that bike. i think if one last 20000. it is just broke in and it will last forever if it has been taken care of.

                        I believe that the seat height is lower on the XJ's than the XS. Not sure of the exact measurements thought.
