That's a nice one! Wasn't someone here looking for a bike in NJ lately? This one looks complete, and all stock. Kinda sad that the current owner suggests that the stock pipes are not preferred... Those things are worth more than their weight in gold these days!

there stock, i'd have to find new pipes first, so witchever comes first, new pipes or sell bike, one of my xs's gotta go, they both run the same and i chose to sell this one cause i'm not so much a fan of the midnight anymore.

keep me in mind if you decide to sell the pipes.

NOOOOO!!! Don't remove the stock pipes from a MNS!! If the bike is at all repairable, that is one (of a few) item that defines the MNS. Keep it together as a set, and baby those pipes.

Man, from a value standpoint though blacking out all of the gold kills it in my opinion. THAT is the defining item of the midnight really, and I doubt you can get the paint off without ruining the gold chrome beneath. As it sits, its is just a blacked out special with gold wheels.

Value is not what I was going for, I can't run gold, the rims woulda been next but theres no room for 2 bikes so this one just got worked on and runs good so now its for sale.

                        Cool man

I LOVE what you did with the bike. Purists be damned, I'd buy this from you and finish it up with the wheels too!!!! EXCELLENT!!! Midnight is midnight right? I've had the same basic idea turning around in my head...caught any interest on it yet?

I'm no fan of the gold either. Especially the wheels look way to light for my taste, but that is a personal preference only. Your bike, make it look however you want it to look.

If I were to come look at that bike for purchasing though, it would immediately lose any added value that the "Midnight Special" would bring to it. And I would even question if it is a MNS. The MNS is the rarest of these bikes and therefore can fetch more money. That was all I intended.
