  • 1982 XJ 1100 Maxim LIKE NEW

    Ok guys I have decided to sell my 1982 XJ 1100 Maxim. This bike has been completely restored all aluminum has been polished to a mirror shine new tires brakes new SS lines complete frame up restoration nothing has been overlooked on this bike. The bike has 68000 km on it 42000 miles. This bike runs drives looks better than new. If you want to know any more about it let me know

    This bike is all ready to go
    I am looking for $4500 CND or the Equivalent in USD

      If I was looking for a Maxim, THIS WOULD BE THE ONE. This is one truly incredible looking bike.
      79 XS1100 SF - name TBD - possibly "Divorce Maker" Kerker 4 into 1, K&N filter in stock air box
      79 XS1100 SF - parts (for now) - "Divorce Maker II"
      79 XS1100 SF "The one that got away" sold in 1993.

          Jim... you may want to revise your ad to include a minimum non refundable deposit of say $500 and state that it would be the buyers responsibility to pick up the bike and/or ship it. Also that payment in full should be in 7 days inperson and in cash...Best of luck selling her...she is a beaut!

            Backround

            Just noticed the vehicles in the backround. A chevy cage and a Ford pickup. Another mixed marriage I guess.

            Great looking bike. One of the best I have ever seen.

                Thanks guys for all the nice words about the bike i love it but i have a couple more and i have the same as that in the shed that i will be redoing in the winter. Like to see this one go to a good home it is a truly great bike I bought it last spring and drove it all last year 8000 km with no problem. Retored it over the winter to make it look beter than new and i do love riding it but i will say that having a bigger bike is nice i can streach out on it more and Lori is a lot more comfortable on it. I will always have a XJ or XS cause i love them.

                  ok guys had it on Ebay and it went to 2475 USD so i am going to offer it here for 2800 USD am going to out it back on ebay i a couple of days.

                          it was a great bike it was sold to i guy that owned one brand new in 82 sold it in 95 and now wants another so i think it is going to a great home

                          P.S. am thinking of taking all bags and fairing off the 79 and making a driver out of it I went to start stripping it and i couldnt way to nice a bike
