I just want the bags/trunk, but that thing's too nice to take apart. Besides the shipping over the border would be killer...

Well I thought about using it as a parts bike,
but I wont!,
I will probably spend 6 to 8 hours or so polishing it up,
and would have it then painted and then registered if I bought it,
I really hate to part out a classic bike,
especially if it is an XS11!

(I would not be able to sleep at night if I did it, tossing and turning, you know!)

I do not think customs will charge that much for duties on a bike,
I bought a HP Blackbird PC in December,
and it was $2000 dollars US and they charged
only 90 dollars US in duty fees,
however I will do a Google to get an idea of the fees associated with importing a $700 bike from Canada!

This bike needs a good home it is way to nice to take apart and as for the duty taking it across the border there is hardy anything cause of the year of the bike.

P.S. am not parting it out if nobody wants it i will take the bags and fairing off it and ride it myself.
