    1981 xj1100

    35,613 miles. Previous owner had replaced a couple gears in tranny but once he had it reassembled he realized he'd forgotten the left crank seal and gave up on the project. We ran it to get it in my pickup and he showed where oil would leak because of the missing oil seal. I had purchased the bike as a spare for my XS1100 but never needed any parts. I think the only thing missing is the headlight but it might be in the box of pieces parts. My brother was interested in the bike and got the engine apart but lost interest. Engine is in pieces and bike has sat outside (engine parts in garage). Moving next week and looking to lighten the load. Located in Los Angeles, CA (90039). I can take some pics if anyone is interested in the bike. $200 OBO. Willing to negotiate with enthusiast who will get this bike back on the road.

    Forgot to mention I also have a vetter fairing that came with the bike that I am selling separately. Pics on request. Make offer.

    Currently located in Los Angeles, CA (90039) for local pickup. Could consider delivery if located enroute to Cleveland, OH.

        I'm not planning on going through Indianapolis. I'll be stopping in Chicago to visit a friend though. Can you make it up there?

            Officially it would be an 82, but depending on when it was produced and sold and titles, it may title as an 81.

                  Correction: it is an '82 XJ1100 (checked title)

                  Let me know if you need some with more detail... finding little time to do anything but pack. I have had a lot of local interest .
