XS 1100 Specials for Sale?

I have two XS 1100 Specials with full luggage, farings, etc sitting around my place. Both run although one currently has the carbs in pieces. One (a 1978) was my father's, the other (a 1979) is mine. The 78 is red in color and I rode it before I parked it about 5 years ago. The 79 is black with gold fleck paint. Both have custom seats and crash bars. Both have pretty rusy exhaust systems, need new tires, and need some TLC. I have cleaned the tank out of the 79 and had it repainted along with the fenders and side covers. I thought I would get it back on the road way before now. I am debating what to do with them. I was going to fix them up myself (why the carbs are torn apart on the one) but I just don't have the time. Is there any interest out there in buying these bikes? I don't even know what to ask for them and I will post pictures if there is an interest. I need the room more than I need the bikes at this point I guess....

Hi been looking for an XS for a while as a second bike not bothered what it looks like as long as its in reasonable mechanical condition any chance you could tell me what kind of money your looking for

I will try to post some pictures next week. I have to run out of town right now to take my daughter back to school in Eastern Washington. I am thinking given the full farings, and luggage, etc, the bikes ought to be worth $900 each. I really kind of hate to sell them, but the reality is, I just don't have time to mess with them. By the time I get around to them, I would probably be better off to buy a new bike. Anyway, like I say, I will post pictures next week when I get back and we can go from there.

Yeah, I still have them. I had to go out of town on business and haven't gotten the digital camera pointed at them yet. But, yeah, I would consider any reasonable offers for either or both. I will try to get a picture over the next couple of days.
