    Help...out of work...'81 XS1100SH F/S

I've listed this before but need to again...I am selling this for forum members only at $2000.This is my '81 Streetfighter. It is actually in better shape than my '82 XJ but...I've had that one since it was new. This bike I've only had a year and I have only put on less than 1000 miles on it. It has 11776 original miles and I am the 2nd owner. This bike is turn key..no issues of ANY kind. You can buy bikes for less but you'll have to do more and spend more to get a bike to where this one already is. I have added a new battery and SS brakelines front and rear. I realize the timing(middle of winter) is questionable and that this site seems to go into hibernation mode...but I am out of work with nothing coming in...I really need to sell this ASAP! Heres one pic to whet your appetite.

Nice bike, Post it on ebay with a $2050 reserve. I don't even want to say it but, if you need the cash....i see alot of spendy parts on that, I've been told $3,000 is the the going amount for parting a good one out, maybe more if you do it right.

No way I am parting this bike out. Its PITA to ship parts and it would be a cryin' shame to part such a fine machine out. The $2k price is just for CH11 viewers..so to say. if it goes on flea bay it'll be at least $1k more.

Dean... et al... Thanks... for sure this has someone's name on it...I mean look at it. Its in original unrestored condition. When I bought it from the original ownr last year ...I was astounded when I actually saw it in person. You all know how a bike can look better in a picture than it is in person? Well the pics I have dont do justice as to how fine of condition this bike is. With one exception this bike is as pristine as they come. The asking price is a steal...IMHO So I'm confident someone wants it...its just a matter of time.OMMMMM!

Bike is Sold! ...Some bikes never go and some bikes do. I still have 'ol Max and the Red Queen so I'll be ok...but damn that was a sweet XS.

Hey Drew Thanks for buying the Streetfighter...I am sure you'll get many years of enjoyment from this timeless classic. It was great to meet you and your family. Everything works out...the bike is in good hands so it will be appreciated for what it is. Just watch that rear brake like I said before...BTW Welcome to CH11! There are some great folks here and a wealth of technical knowledge. So while your bike has no issues theres still alot of good people that like to ride.Check out the XSEAst rally in Brattleboro VT May 22-25th.I'll be there...

I swear I must be crazy because this bike is soooo nice...its in original, unrestored condition...which in this day and age is nothing short of amazing! My consolation is knowing that is in a fine home and will be taken care of properly and appreciated for what it is. Now I need to get MadMax looking this sweet

Thanks for the gracious welcome (and for the bike, MadMax). That Kerker certainly announces my arrival! Already working on a few mild tweaks and farkles for the bike. Will post some pics when I am done.
