Yep, that would explain the kick starter on an 80 model. Now that I look it does appear a bit short in the cylinders for an 11. Interesting that a bike in such good shape has no side cover huh?...maybe because it says 850 on it?
I always wonder about the no key, no title bikes. I looked at several before I found my 11, even talked to the BMV here in Ohio and they told me basically, its a parts bike until you can find the previously titles owner and get to signed over to you.
What a waste of so many good looking and in some cases good running (some had keys) bikes. 11 or even as an 850, that is a nice lookin bike for $250. Of course, if every valve is bent and it threw a rod through the other side of the cylinder, well...Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
