                  Ha!

I'm thinking that if I'm really, really bad... my chances might be better...

like I told scrambler... I just need to convince my spouse that I need this before someone else convinces theirs...

                  Getting closer...

                        tech question for the group

That is a nice looking unit, Scrambler.

Please excuse my ignorance but what is the remedy for an XS 1100 that jumps out of second gear?

                          Max,

Check out the tech tips, look under info at the top of the forum and look under repairs/transmission for the 1st/2nd gear dremel fix thread.

If someone really wants this, I'm in Cincinnati and have room in my garage. If you send me the money, I'll make arrangements and store it in my garage until you can figure out shipping/pick-up and mail you the title. All I ask is that you owe me a beer or a Mt. Dew at the next XS11 meet-up (pre/during ride = Mt. Dew, post-ride = PBR).

DGXSER- you're right around the corner (ok, 15 minutes away, close enough), can you lend a hand? Phelps is 4 hours from Cincinnati.

                              Hey Sojourner,

This thread got brought back to life after a looonnng dead time. The last post from Scrambler was almost 2 years ago. The last post about the bike for sale was over a year ago.

But we must be close, I'm over near 275 and 74 interchange. Seems I recall you picked your bike up in Hamiltucky....errrr....Hamilton.
