so does he have the only XS that gets 50mpg? Seems most of us are struggling to get into the low 40's. hmmm...I smell some exaggeration.1979 xs1100 Special -

I'll tell you ..if this were closer to me I'd be all over this one.i would just go and see it and find out all the missing details.Surely a first year XS1100 with Yamaha's touring pkg is worth $2000.It might need some TLC but it looks to be quite clean and solid.I wonder if it has the hard bags...
