I have been watching this bike for a few weeks. This bike/seller makes me nervous. He has RE-listed the bike 2 times after his reserve has been met in 2 separate auctions. There is a lot of zero feedback and private feedback bidding going on in this auction. The guy might be bidding on his own stuff to jack up the price. I hate that about ebay.
79 XS1100 SF - name TBD - possibly "Divorce Maker" Kerker 4 into 1, K&N filter in stock air box
79 XS1100 SF - parts (for now) - "Divorce Maker II"
79 XS1100 SF "The one that got away" sold in 1993.

Don't ebay toss you if they catch you doing that? I haven't ever bought a bike on ebay. I have been looking at an old connie through.

Ebay will at least suspend you if there is PROOF that you are doing that. Usually someone looking to bid up their own stuff will get a friend to bid up the price or open an ebay account in another name and bid with that. In that case, there is no actual proof. If I see that strange bid amounts were made by someone with no feedback or private feedback, especially with bid retractions (to find out how high the previous bid is) I stay clear of these. Ebay can be a great source of hard to find stuff. (I bought my 65 Cutlass off of ebay.) It can also be abused.
