I recently got this bike in a trade from someone, and I really dont know much about bikes at all so I have decided to sell it after tinkering around with it a bit. When i got it, it had not been run for about 6 months or so i was told, the gas in the tank was bad and first thing i did was dump that out and put fresh in. of course the bowls started to leak from the needle and seats not sealing or stuck float, so off came the carbs for a quick look. I cleaned out the crud but didnt have kits for them so did what i could and put back onto the bike. I did start it up (after i bought a new battery for it that is) and i did resolve the carbs leaking. I think one float is out of adjustment though on cylinder 2, it gets spark but not enough fuel i dont think (i also put in new spark plugs). rest of the cylinders appear to be getting enough fuel and the bike runs suprisingly good for number 2 not doing as well. another issue with it is the headlight doesnt come on and the turn signals wont come on, but the 4 way flasher does. i did check that it was charging and it is. when i asked another motorcycler he said it was probably the reserve lighting unit to be the problem. another thing i noticed was the headlight switch for high/low was broke, tried to get one on ebay but was outbid. anyways, someone who is more knowledgeable should have this tuned up pretty fast and on the road again. i did not drive it anywhere so dont know anything else for condition, but the guy i got it from said everything else should be good as he did drive it (and also dumped it as u will see in the pics). I would like $800.00 or best offer.
