Yea, I know how that goes! Only reason I mention it is that some parts people recognize the FJ name as it is a newer bike:

Me to parts man: "Hello. I need some parts for my XJ."

Parts man: "You mean FJ."

Me: "No, I have an '82 XJ 1100."

Parts man: "You mean an '82 FJ 1100."

Me: "Look it up. Yamaha made an XJ in '82 as well as the FJ."

Pars man: "mumble...mumble...mumble...Hey, you are right. They do list an XJ. Never knew that before."

And so it goes.....
