I have a 1978 Yamaha XS-1100E For sale. It needs carbs rebuilt. It ran good but would'nt idle, then Finally got the the bike to idle and it is leaking fuel from the #3-4 carb. It shows 22000 miles on the odometer. I bought a nice tank off ebay "brown tank" and spent 70.00 having it coated. I didnt want any rust isues! The blue tank was crap. I swapped the gas charged front forks for air forks off of a 1980 XS-11. It has all new of the following: K&N air filter,Battery,Clutch-throttle-speedometer cable,New back brakes. I wish I had the time to get her up and running perfect but I just dont have the time. And I only want to sell it to someone who loves the XS's Like I do! I have had four since I was 18yrs old. **UPDATE** LOWER PRICE
I will take $400.00 for the bike and if I cant get that I will start parting it out down to the bare frame. Let me know what parts you might need in case no one buys the bike whole. The bike just needs carbs fixed, it ran great until the carbs started leaking. And the leak is from the fuel " T " on the number 3 to 4 carb.1978 Yamaha XS-1100 STD
