Clean Title - 36,703 miles
This bike has been a restoration project and will make a great ride for someone. It has been restored to match very closely to the stock finish of the Midnight Special from Yamaha. The bike was completely broken down for cleaning and reassembly. The engine was not disassembled but is in pristine condition. Many OEM parts have been replaced with NEW Yamaha parts. Please read the complete parts list below along with the other parts serviced and/or replaced.
NEW PARTS
- Air Filter (K&N)
- Bolts/Nuts/Screws for Side Covers, Head Cover, etc.
- Brake Pads
- Disc Lock Tabs
- Cables (Clutch, Speedometer)
- Carb inners/outers
- Carb Slide Diaphragms (all 4 replaced)
- Gaskets (Head cover, A/C Generator, Exhaust, etc.)
- Fluids (Transmission, Gear oil 80W90, Motor oil 10W40)
- Front Fork Tubes (Forks by Frank)
- Front Fork Seals (fork seal clips needed)
- Intake Boots (4)
- Oil Filter & Oil Cooler Lines
- Petcocks rebuilt (no leaks)
- Rubber Boot & Springs for Rear Arm
- Rubber covers for throttle, brake, etc.
- Rubber grommets (side covers, etc.)
- Tires (Continental) Front & Rear
- Turn Signals front & rear
- Right Control Handle
- Spark Plugs
- Steering Bearings
POWDER COATING
Head Cover, Frame, Carb Float Bowls (4), Fenders front & rear, Handlebars, Triple Tree assembly, Battery Tray
PAINT (Completed by Auto Body shop)
Fuel Tank, Side Covers, Front Fork Legs, Rear Arm & Assembly
SERVICE INFO
- Bike is running but won't idle properly until carbs are synced.
- Carbs completely flushed and cleaned
- Reconditioned rear shocks
- Front Brakes need servicing
- Electrical: Everything is working except for the headlight (XS11 Forum has an easy fix for this)
- Seat is worn but can be replaced, there are some available on the XS11 forum and ebay.
