    I am selling my 1984 XJ. It has 25,500 kilometers (approx 14,000 miles). New paint, seat, trunk, good tires, brakes. Carbs have been cleaned and just changed oil. Starts and runs great. Needs nothing, just get on and ride. I am asking $2800 canadian.

    I can send pics via email if interested.

    Hi Cokeman,

    I'm new to these models and have a couple of questions

    Is yours a model with metric gauges?
    Have you done the 1st and 2nd gear fix?
    What do you mean Trunk?
    With only 14,000 miles why did it need new paint, seat, and trunk?
    Any modifications?

    I would like pics. You can email them to C21grantspass@aol.com

    Thanks

      To answer your questions;

      Yes it has metric guages (canadian model)

      No I haven't done 1st and 2nd. No need to. I dont ride it hard and it only has 14,000 miles.

      trunk can be seen in the pics here, It is the gray bike in the second photo.

      paint and seat are simply because I am fo fussy. Tank had a small dent, the light had to hit it just right to be seen and the seat had a small 1" tear in the passanger portion. Thus I had the dent repaired and tank/side covers painted and the seat recovered.

      no modifications, straight stock, including exhaust.

      I will send more pics tonight when I get home.
