  • Selling my XJ

After some 12 years in my garage, the time has finally come to find a new home for my XJ and move up to a modern bike. The details:

    1982 XJ1100
    46k miles
Factory-option X1 fairing with lowers, driving lights, and a hand-laid fiberglass chin fairing.
    Mac's 4/1 exhaust
Custom gel-padded seat by Rich's in Seattle
    Nylon saddlebags
    TKat fork brace
    Dynojet Stage 2 Carb Kit
    Passenger Backrest and luggage rack
    BC800 bike computer
    R1 mirrors
New paint, battery, tires, spark plug wires, valve cover gasket, rubber intake manifolds, rear shocks.
Also included are an owner's manual, shop manual, and some miscellaneous parts.
The bike starts, runs, and rides great. Needs nothing to start a cross-coutry trip today.

In the interest of full disclosure, the only problem is the stock odomoter quit working. The spiral gear inside is worn out. The speedo still works, and the mileage quoted above is accurate due to the BC800 computer.

    $2500 firm
Email garyberg@hotmail.com for more details and pictures.
Bike is located in Covington, WA, half an hour south of Seattle.
