I don't care if the case is rusted but would prefer the red line to be, uh, red.

There are several on Ebay right now. They don't have to be specifically for the 81. Any special (round gauge) will do. Just do a search for Yamaha xs1100 tachometer.

Sheesh. All the one's I've seen ( that aren't $300+ ) have white redlines. Unacceptable. Of course all THE SQUARE ONES are red though.
