Yamaha Backrest for 78-80 XS1100

I'm looking for an original, black Yamaha backrest, with or without frame. I'm rebuilding a 78 back to stock and need to replace the backrest I recovered 40 years ago. The condition of the frame, if included, is not important. However, I'm willing to pay well for an original vinyl backrest pad in good condition. Attached is a pic of what it looks like. This is what I'm seeking. Thanks!

Thanks DEEBS11. I saw that but figured $330 all in for a worn backrest with many cuts and holes seemed pretty steep. Thank you for passing it on. Cheers

If you can't come across one here you might want to check an upholstery shop and see if they can rework the one you already have.

I'll throw this out there for consideration:

I have a custom Corbin dual saddle seat (on pan) with a matching backrest (the one I want to replace). Pix attached. The metal side trim pieces do not fit on the Corbin seat. I'm very open to a trade.

I'm the original owner of this 78 XS11 and had the seat and backrest recovered around 1980. They still look pretty much new today as I don't have a lot of miles on the bike (pic attached). I'm willing to trade this custom matched set for your stock seat (on pan) and backrest (off frame). The plastic tail and side strips are not included with mine (just the seat on pan) and backrest pad, and I don't need your tail nor do I need the frame for the backrest. I already have a NOS replacement seat for my bike but a straight across trade works for me and I'll keep your seat as a spare for this or my other stock XS11 (pic attached). Your backrest needs to be like new for this trade; no tears, holes, wear areas. PM me if you have questions or are interested. Cheers
