wanted: MNS rear brake rotor plus a few other parts needed.

  • wanted: MNS rear brake rotor plus a few other parts needed.

    As I continue working on my Dueling Projects, I am looking for a few Midnight Special parts. 1. a gold rear brake rotor disc. (or the right front disc will work also) 2. right side engine generator cover with gold lettering. 3. Left side engine cover with gold lettering. 4. Front black fender. 5. rear black fender. Cash or trade. (I have plenty of spare XS11 parts available to trade or sell if you need anything.) Thanks, Bob

    I think dpotter58 has some stuff. I got some MNS carbs from him.

      Can't help directly with the parts but you could just buy the normal parts from a 80 special and just have everything painted. Of course you would have to score a set of the decals for the covers on each side of the engine. Easy enough for me to say I guess because I paint but would be what I would be doing a looking for. The MNS parts are getting harder to find. Fortunately you are doing the LG and not the LH with the detent in the covers. Seems the 81 stuff is getting harder to find.

        Thanks Guys for your thoughts and ideas. I suspect that I will probably end up doing just that Cajun. Some creative gold painting!

          Bump... Still looking for these MNS parts. Especially the back fender. or even any 80-81 special rear fender that I can paint. I know there are a ton of them on ebay but I'd rather purchase from someone trusted on here!
