Lemme check Mack, think I have a couple.
1980 XS1100G "Dolly G" Full Dresser (with a coat of many colors )
    1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)
    1984 XV700L Virago (to be hot-modded)
    1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
    1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

      Hi Mack

My back rest works from a small bag in front of the trunk. Great for long trips

'78 XS1100E (the newest bike I've ever owned)
      '74 CB350F1 (under restoration)
      '72 RT2 MX360 (gone but not forgotten)

Hi Mack, this is a KG brand adjustable back rest and rack system. The rack can be used without the back rest but not the opposite. It comes close to the turn signal stalks but it can be adjusted to miss them. I'm not going to use it on any of my bikes, so if your interested it's yours for shipping.

I have two more, one is just a backrest from a Suzuki and can be rigged to fit, and the other is a NOS Yamaha low rise rack/rest that your First Born is probably to old to trade for.

P.S. this is on my SF
