  • WTB Spin On Oil Filter Kit

I'm looking to buy a spin on kit if anyone has one laying around. Or if you have a link to a product or information I would welcome that as well.

    Thanks,

Go to XJ4ever.com Contact them. I believe they have the kit for XJ bikes. It might be the same. If he has XJ1100 covered, that will be it.

Thanks Marty. I e-mailed them but they haven't wrote back yet. We'll see what happens. I may just have to look into making my own.

I just an email back from Len, no dice. Oh well, I guess it's time to figure out how to make my own!

Yamaha V-Max and Venture use the same oil filter as the XS1100. I would think the adaptor plate for these would also fit an xs1100. Its possible but not 100% sure. I think it would make the filter hang too low . It could easily get punctured.

Great tip, thanks! I'll give it a shot. I'm not too worried, my exhaust still hangs a little lower than the oil cover and I have an aluminum belly pan.

I'll let you guys know how it works out!

So it worked! I went ahead and bought one and put it on this week and it spun right on. I'll post about it in the discussion forum. Thanks!
