Like, JIS or . . . ? SHCS? I've replaced every single fastener on my XS with 316 SS SHCS, including the longer mid-drive bolts. Got them all from work.

Well I like the look of OEM. So JIS on some like carb screws.

I have quite a few rusty heads, so I just wanted to start cleaning things up. With my SOHC Honda, I was able to ordera little bag of carb screws, I think they were reconditioned with new zinc plating.

I suppose I could remove the offending parts and go in search of replacements...

      What is SHCS?

Find the best looking screws on your carbs and polish them (I like Blue Magic #1, then #2 favorite is Mothers, not a big difference).
Many of the screws are hidden anyway, or at least hard to see so a set of 3 should finish the carbs off nicely, JMO

You just need to buy 4 sets and 2 more XS11s. Problem solved.

I went with button head socket screws, so the profile looked more like the factory JIS, but they used a hex key instead. Here's an example: https://www.boltdepot.com/Product-De...?product=22798

If you're interested, I'll send you the measurements I've taken, so you can place an order.
