  • Need parts for 1100 SG Eleven Special

Hi XS11, I am new on this site and I live in Denmark. Sorry about my spelling.
I got an 1100 SG Eleven Special 3U9 from Canada. I have a Vetter IV wind fairing and a Pacifico fairing.
I have the bracket for the Pacifico fairing but it does not fit an 11SG. No bracket for the Vetter fairing too. Need also the wiring harness for both fairings.
I have Yamaha hard saddlebags but the bracket for the bags is for another Yamaha.
The bracket for the rear top luggage is modified, but it sits too far out the back.
When I got the bike, I thought all the stuff would fit the bike but no. I spend a lot of time on the internet, trying to find out what would fit the bike and not.
I do not know how to add pictures to the site ;-)
Are there anyone who can help me with the missing parts?
No. 1: Bracket for Vetter IV wind fairing? Does all XS1100 brackets fit 11SG? Are there a difference between the models?
No. 2: Wiring harness for both fairings.
No. 3: Brackets for the hard saddlebags.
No. 4: Brackets for the topbox.

Yep, the rear portion of bike for mounting brackets, etc. is different between the Specials and Standards. Modifications for mounting things can be modified in order to fit correctly though.

      Welcome Jensen.
When you say wiring harness for the fairings: Do you mean the internal wires or the "Pig tail" from the plug to connect to the bikes wires in the headlight ?
Did you buy this bike and all the pieces from Canada or from a seller in Denmark?

Yes MaximPhil, yes it is the wire from the fairing to the headlights.
In 1994, my brother was traveling in Canada and bought the bike in Canada without fairings and saddlebags. Later he bought the fairings and saddlebags. Some of the stuff was mounted on a XS1100 but not a Special
This was back in 1994 and he got the bike and parts shipped to Denmark. My dad used the bike until a few years ago. Now I have the bike and have used it since last year. It is a nice bike and I enjoy it. I still have the Honda 750 Four as I have been using since 1992 with a Vetter wind fairing, Krauser hard saddlebags and top box. Now I need a big wind fairing on the Yamaha, too much wind I am going to Hartzen, late in April to try driving in the mountains.

Hi motoman, Nice to know, do anyone have pictures, how to modify the mounting plates.

Did you ever get this harness? Can you take a picture of what the connection on your fairing looks like? I've got a couple
