Just wanted to share with everyone that K&L makes a fuel petcock rebuild kit for XS11's. The part number for my 79SF is 185100 and comes with all the o-rings and gaskets plus the vacuum diaphram. The kit will rebuild both petcocks and it cost $32.00.

My question: what's the difference between a petcock and a petcock rebuild kit? English is my first language so my understanding is that a petcock rebuild kit would 'rebuild' a petcock.

No. That one will not fit. The bolt spacing is different.

I just checked the K&L website for these kits ('79 SF) and the price is now $36.95 (+ shipping on orders under $100) per kit which rebuilds one petcock. Or am I looking in the wrong place?
