#2 Carb for 81 Special

    #2 Carb for 81 Special

    Does anyone out there have an extra #2 carburetor body for a 1981 XS1100SH?

    The one I have has a broken float mount that I fixed. It seems to be working correctly but I'm having problems with the #2 cylinder. I just need the body and none of the other parts but will take them if you don't want to pull them off.

    This is an experiment on my part and it'll likely not fix the problem so I don't want to spend a great deal of money on it.

    Hi Rich,

    If you're still in need of the carb body I can relay a number 2 to ya.

    As I was rebuilding JeffinTampa's carbs last month, mack donated a late model #2 for the cause but I was able to repair Jeff's #2 float post and didn't need it.

    I received Gracious clearance from mack to pay it forward to a needy XS'er
