Looking for a kickstarter

kicker will kind of fit. The shape of the one you have there is what I've used. Still the XS650 does not clear the brake pedal arm and to give it a bit more swing the shaft on the engine needs to be moded with a dremel at the bottom but it will work. I put one on my 79 back in 81 and I've one on my 79 now. The 78 standard, it did not come with a kicker like this did it ? I thought all 11s had the solid kicker up under the battery box ?

I'm not looking to make something fit...i want something that matches what I have...as you can see the clamp part of the above kicker was modified by Randy to add an extra bolt to help tighten it down and keep it from stripping splines when you actually have to use it... but the kicker has to match the splines on the shaft coming out of the engine... actually the kicker part is intact...i need the pivot/clamp piece that broke...

Yup I have one that fits the XS 11 splines and looks pretty much the same as yours. You can have it for the shipping price, but that may be high from here and I use Canada post so it does take longer for the cheaper prices. Would be cheaper to ship just the one part but then if it is not exactly the same then you wont be able to fit the two parts together either.

Cool...hope to find one...its a nice option to have when your starter/solenoid goes bad and mounted it looks real cool...as mine was when I bought Swampthing 2 yrs ago.

Ok the kicker I have is not from an XS1100...its either a XS 650,750 or 850...so thay are all very similar if not the same...the original kicker did not have this pivot point...the kicker was for emergencies however the way randy modified it ...it could be used on a regular basis and stay permanently mounted...
