There are thread re-placements that are not the typical heli coil, forget what they are called. Drill and tap the original and install these. May need to get a larger drain plug, I've not used these in this application so not 100% on use. I get them at Ace. Think I have a few extras I won't be needing, you will still need the tap and homemade install tool (big screwdriver), glad to send your way.76 XS650 C ROADSTER
