Looking for an exhaust valve for a '79 Engine.
Anyone have an exhaust valve for a '79 engine laying around? Bent one trying to get my project bike back on the road... Long story short, I'm pretty sure a gremlin put a bolt inside my #3 cylinder... I had an extra head, but apparently the 80-81 valves don't interchange. Any help would be much appreciated!

I have a 78 head (same as the 79) with a couple of good valves. I also have an 80 head with all good valves (cross threaded the #3 sparkplug). If Nate cant find you a good one P.M. me and I can pull what you need.Ty

In case anybody needs valve train parts: have everything from a 79 xs1100 special (SF) cylinder head in a bag, cams, cam caps, valves, springs, buckets, shims, bolts, washers $40 for the lot plus ship. Also have valve train parts from a 80 xs1100 special (SG) cams, 6 valves, 6 springs, buckets, shims, bolts, washers, $30 for the lot plus ship. Both engines were harvested for useable parts due to some major engine failure, send me a PM if you want or need some parts, thanx andreasComment
