    Anybody Willing To Lend Their Charging System, lol?

    I guess I'll put this out as a feeler, as Gabe (Down$hift) may sell me his good stator, and that may solve everything.

    I was wondering if I could borrow somebody's extra stator & R/R to make sure I'm not chasing my tail here. Obviously I'll pay S/H both ways, and treat it like it's mine. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    You can have my stator for free. Swap me for those RH controls you were talking about earlier and it's a deal . Also maybe throw in your broken stator for cheap and it's definitely a deal.

      Hi Ian, if the wiring on my, known good, stock '80G's R/R works for your '79F you can have it, as I have a Geezer R/R on the G.

        Hi Schming- I believe I narrowed my problem down to my stator rubbing on my rotor. R/R does not seem to be an issue right now. Thank you for the offer.
