  • Want to Buy Standard Tank

Title says it all. I don't care about paint on it. Needs to be only light to no rust, no dents, and no leaks. If in doubt, post a pic!

79 F - gas tank refurb, headgasket change, straight pipes, late model carbs, virago lowering shocks, special headlight and gauges, TC fuse block, GSXR-1100 carbs (WIP)

    1980G Tank Ebay

This one is a little pricey. It ia 1980G (Silver/Grey) NOS still in the box tank. Really nice example.

Yeah, I saw that one and it looks great. I couldn't pay that much and put it on my bike because it'd be an injustice . If I could afford it, I'd just buy it and put it up for when I find that perfect XS11 in the sky that just needs a tank to be perfect.

I remember when they stumbled across all of those boxes of Hooker exhaust systems, and my dad bought a NOS set for his 750. I ended-up selling them last year for $560. I can only imagine somebody finding another warehouse of Yamaha OEM parts.
