Oil filter washer & spring

Some how some way I'm missing the spring and washer for the oil filter. Either I put it some where other than the carton I had the cover and bolt in or it was not there in the first place and I did not notice ? ?
Oh well, I need the spring and washer. Anyone ?

I have a Washer you can have but no spring.

Both are available from Yamaha for under 5 bucks. Do not remember the part numbers but they were used on many bikes so check it out with your nearest stealer.

To expand on Rasputins reply, you can save this site,
http://www.yamahamotorsports.com/spo...starthere.aspx, and use it to look up part numbers. See if you come up with these,

90501-18433-00 SPRING, COMPRESSION

90201-21608-00 WASHER, PLATE

Now, when you call the Yamaha shop, you can ask them if they have those part numbers, rather than asking them to look up parts for old bikes, which some of them don't want to do.

Hi Marty !

I sent a PM to Phil as soon as I got the parts from the dealer, so he would not send the washer. Double checked the total and it was only $7.36 with the discount, plus tax of course.
I'll probably find them as I near completion ? ?
