  • Front master cylinder

Looking for a front master cylinder for my 79. This is my first project and finding it hard to locate parts close to me. Any suggestions on where to find one or if someone has an extra just sitting around that they want to get rid of I'd gladly take it

Call Michael Morse at 650 Central. He's a brake expert and he'll get you exactly what you need. If you don't have a master cylinder, you may as well get a new modern one.

I have one just trying to rebuild it, I know the kit is only 20 bucks but I need a new reservoir and cap. The previous owner stripped the screws and I guess he said f*** it and ripped it off

You can't buy a reservoir and a new cap is $65.

Yeah I figured it would be that much, but does anyone have a spare laying around?

I would put a newer one on too, your brake will work better.
