  • '79 Intake and Exhaust Valves for sale?

I am looking for 2 intake and 2 exhaust valves for a 79 standard, because like a retard I bent them. The OEM manual procedure is apparently missing something important, because I followed it exactly. This was my first engine rebuild, so it's probably something stupid that I don't know. Anyway...

There are some here, http://www.partzilla.com/parts/searc...LVE/parts.html but they are 35-45$ each.

This site was on the forums...

    But I don't see a 79 exhaust listed.

Anyone know where I could find the cheaper? Thanks in advance.

    Valves for 1979F

There is a Yamaha dealer on line http://www.nwvcp.com. They have both intake and exhaust stock. Yes, they are expensive, but look at all the trouble to put them in. Why would you not go back with new parts? Plus the fact that they are genuine Yamaha pieces. I have bought from them many times. Good people to work with. They ship everything USPS so shipping $ is reasonable.

Try the link below. If it does not work, you can look it up on the site. Good luck.
