    Another request for 79 SF Backrest and Luggage rack

      The 79SF uses the same rack as a standard. Just be careful which mounting version you buy. If the hole for the rear mounting bracket is behind the bottom rail of the rack, it is meant for a bike with side bags and requires moving the rear signals to the license bracket. If the rear mounting hole is below the bottom rail of the rack, you can leave the rear lights in their original position.

      I can swap the racks between my standards and my 79SF with no problem. Just be careful of how the rear mounting tabs are positioned.
      I would assume the the version that covers the signal mounting points is meant to hide the empty hole left when bags are mounted and the signals are moved to the bar mounted to the license bracket.

        With the above being said......
        I am looking for a rack that the rear mounting tabs have the holes BELOW the bottom rail of the rack.
