Looking for a gear to swap out, i dremmeled it once and got 3500 miles out of it. About 600 miles ago the wheel locked up accelerating and second gear is done

Hmmmm.......U sure bout that?.............U sure it wasn't the middle drive that locked up? Those ARE a seperate drive transition to the shaft yoke. In other words, the middle drive has its own lube with fill and drain plugs. How did you get 600 more miles with the wheel locked up?
I bought a trany set off ebay and when i got the set it too was frozen to the shaft. Locked up?

The 600 miles I have traveled have been shifting from first to third second gear does not hold very well it' slips like crazy. the tire was only locked up for a secondComment

Sounds like you have the dreaded "2nd Gear" issue that a lot of XS11s develop. There is a tech tip on the dremel repair for this. It will involve both 2nd gear and 5th gear to fix it correctly.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
