i have the outside shell and headlight for my 81 MNS, was wondering if anyone has the internal mount and the retainer ring. not sure what the inside is called... i have a few odds and ends if anyone would like to do a partial trade or somthing.

i have outer rim for xs 1100 should fit midnite special 7.00 plus 5.45 shipping.heres a picture has rust on inside and little on outside. i take paypal pm me if interested. the piece in middle has been sold

That ring is the same on the XS650. A reproduction is available from Mike's XS.

Caswell has a kit for you to gold plate it.

if im not mistaken it is a hell on the inside of the bucket to hold the light in place right, i'm trying to get the big round light on my bike as they were attempting to put a tiny 4" light assembly off a sportster or somthing on it. not a snowballs chance of it going on with me riding it
