  • Looking for a fairing

Not wanting to spend an arm and a leg.
My current WJ2 is badly cracked and I just lost the headlight while on the highway.
I have the mount and a wiring harness would be nice, but not really needed.
I can reuse the windshield off my old one, so basically I need just the fairing.
If it's a newer one (4 or 5) then I'd need the signals, otherwise if it's a (2 or 3) then I can swap my signals over too.
Willing to travel a few miles to get it if need be. VA, MD, NC, maybe NJ or SC.

I've heard that some have shipped one via greyhound, and that's an option as long as it doesn't drive the cost up too much.

WJ 4 and 5 have built in turn signals so you'd remove whatever is on the bike currently... I have one but I think it might already be sold...will know more this Sat...VA is close so if this falls thru I could meet you half way...

I had to swap out my WJ2 with the light and signals from my SG last night.
      See post: http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37451

Half way would be great. You're on this side of Raleigh, so we could meet some place like Roanoke Rapids or Emporia. I saw your post in the for sale section for you WJ.

The rear box would be cool to have too, but $200 is a little more than what I was hoping for. (SWMBO is keeping the money tight)

well you can pay only what you have budgeted..but the whole pkg for $200 doesnt even come close to what I've paid for all of this stuff...and thats really a darn good price. I paid $250 for the WJ and the Topbox with adjustable backrest and rear rack were about $260...both off ebay...anyways this is prolly gonna be all moot by Sat.
        this is the whole pkg...

Seeing the pics, I agree it's worth the $200 asking.
Maybe If I can find some money in the budget, I'd like those.
But, anyway, I hope you get your asking price on Sat.
If not, shoot me back. I might be working some overtime this weekend and thus can afford it.
